Welcome to the BIG D BAND BOOSTER ASSOCIATION INFORMATIONAL PAGE

♦Any parent(s) or guardian(s), who has student(s) in the band, band auxiliary, or any alumni parent(s) or friend(s) who believes in the purpose of the Association and who has paid the required membership dues shall be members of the Association.

♦Membership dues are $30 per year, per household. The new membership will come with 1 Big “D” Band Booster Association t-shirt per household.

♦The Association’s regular meeting will be the second Friday of each month in the Fall semester, and the second Thursday of each month in the Spring semester, unless otherwise deemed necessary by the President or Executive Board.

♦All parents seeking to chaperone must be members of the Association. Primary consideration of parents for chaperones shall be member parents with student(s) in the band. Chaperones selected should be parents with whom the students are familiar. Secondary consideration for chaperones shall be those parents with no students currently in the band.

  • Complete and submit the DISD Background Check (Support Our Schools Volunteer Form).
  • Print 2 copies of the approval confirmation and submit a copy to the Band Booster Association (Band Hall).

  • Volunteers must re-register with the District every year.

♦Each student is to have his/her own Individual Band Student Account. Students may use their band account to pay for band needs such as uniforms and trips etc. A receipt must be written stating that he/she is using his/her band account before funds are deducted. Fundraising funds are not refundable. Only funds that are paid into the account may be refunded by completing the Refund Form.
